Get your pitch in to win £8,000 plus £10,000 budget for Israel star's push into Europe - deadline 31/12/08There's £8,000 to be won by a video director and a budget of £10,000 for the wnner to make a music video for new single It's Alright by Aviv Geffen, produced by the legendary Trevor Horn. There's also competitions for design and styling.
Aviv is a visionary artist, campaigner and super star in Israel where he outsells Madonna, U2 and Coldplay reaching worldwide sales of over 2.5 million.
Judges include David Knight, CEO of UK Music Video Awards & PromoNews, Alexandros Kamaris of Diane von Furstenberg and Mike O'Keif, Head of Video Commissioning, Sony UK.
Aviv and Trevor have been creating a new sound to help him break into the UK and Europe. He's also enlisted the talents of David Bowie's pianist, Mike Garson - seems David Bowie himself is a big fan along with Lou Reed.
Perhaps one of the attractions for Trevor Horn was that Aviv's first single 'Cloudy Now' was banned from Israeli radio. Another famous Horn product, Frankie goes to Hollywood, was famously banned in the UK. Trevor's credits include Simple Minds, Grace Jones and Belle and Sebastian.
