BBC TWO's 'Blethering Scots' features well-known Scottish personalities sharing their favourite Scots words and celebrates the warmth, wit and grit of the Scots language.

Comic actress Elaine C. Smith, contemporary artist Jolomo, and Dundee-based poet Mark Thomson are just a few of those interviewed. In his interview, filmed on location at the Law Hill and Discovery Point, Mark discusses the importance of the Scots language to his creative work and cultural identity, and also how local dialect was important to another well-known Scottish poet - Robbie Burns.
