BBC Scotland: Scotland Directs

BBC Scotland is looking for aspiring directors to take part in Scotland Directs, an initiative to help behind-the-camera talent to make the move into TV drama directing.

A maximum of six candidates will have the chance to participate in a series of workshops, over four days, given by professionals in continuing drama. Then two shortlisted candidates will be chosen to spend a five week placement later this year, shadowing a director on a BBC Scotland drama.

You must be over 18, with some experience in directing in other genres, while wanting to move into TV drama directing. More information can be found at The deadline for submissions is Tuesday 24th April.
