
UK production company, Optomen, brought TV personality Stacey Solomon to Glenrothes in Fife to film an episode of the popular BBC home makeover series Sort Your Life Out.
She was working with the show's expert team to help a local family declutter and transform their home.
Joining Stacey on the show were decluttering specialist Dilly Carter, carpenter Robert Bent, and cleaning expert Iwan Carrington. The team helps overwhelmed families take control of their space, decide what to keep or toss, and redesign their homes to work better for them.
The show regularly attracts an audience of 2 million or more.
Behind the Scenes in Fife
Dilly Carter was full of praise for the family and the region. She wrote on her D Clutter Dollies Facebook page:
“What a week to be filming here. We all feel like we are abroad, surrounded by the most incredible scenery and views.”
A Luxury Pitstop at Gleneagles
Dilly also headed to the famous , luxury resort, Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire and said she had “fallen in love” with the iconic destination.
A-List Visits to Gleneagles
Gleneagles has always been a hotspot for celebrity visitors. In 2024, the hotel had a re-run of a Christion Dior dinner held there in 1955 with the world-famous designer attending in person. A-listers like Anya Taylor-Joy, Lily Collins and Jennifer Lawrence attended in the run up to the Dior Cruise 2025 event and fashion shoot at nearby Drummond Castle.
